the state i live in (rhineland-palatinate) is famous for it's wine and the many castles along the rivers
although i lived here my whole life i still think it's a beautfiul area, especially compared to other places i've been. but i don't want to live here for ever

Your state sounds very pretty. Castles, wheat fields and rivers. I've never gotten to see a castle
Well, the only castle in America I have ever heard of, is one in the Central Park in New York.
I really hope you get to go to Europe some day, but it's really hard to see everything important in one trip. I've lived here for all my life and haven't even been to all my neighbour countries. xD
And to your question if I have any particular place where I'd like to live when I'm older:
I really want to go to the UK when I'm older. I'm not quite sure if I want to stay there all my life, but at least some years. I absolutely love this country.
And what about you? Any place in particular you want to live when you're older?

I hope to make more than one trip to Europe, though Italy would be my first destination...although going to England might be more logical, considering it'd probably be less of a culture shock. But we'll see
I don't really know where I would want to live. I want to travel a lot, so I might just remain living here in Iowa for a while as I do that, but eventually I do want to move somewhere a tad more interesting. Though Iowa is a pretty good state to live in. Not much crime, no hurricanes or earthquakes, so I'm not sure where I might want to move instead
